Import Your Favorites from Another Browser into Edge
It seems like there are new features added to Edge daily such as:
- Free 24hr video calls
- The scrollable screenshot option
- The use of Collections, including Pinterest integration
Because I want to keep up with the new features but also want to keep my productivity at the maximum level, I decided it was time to import my favorites (bookmarks) from the Google Chrome browser. It is very easy, and it will also import your browsing history and saved passwords.
Select the ellipses menu from the top right of the Edge window and choose Settings.
Under the General options, select the Import or Export option.
You have two options to import:
- Import directly from your other browser. It will bring your favorites, browsing history, and other data.
- Import from a file. You will want to use this option if you don’t have access to the other browser from the device you are working on for whatever reason. This will import only your favorites.
While you are waiting for everything to be imported, check out more of what Edge can do by clicking on Help and Feedback in the ellipses menu. Enjoy!
