Danielle Edmunds
Danielle began her instructional career teaching high school English at a small, rural, Western New York school in 1997. Six years later, she was hired by the Brighton Central Schools, a larger, suburban district just outside the city of Rochester, NY. There she taught English for 13 years and served as the Brighton Teacher Center Director for two year before transitioning into her role as the Digital Innovations Coach. Danielle works with sixth through twelfth grade teachers to effectively integrate technology in their lessons with the ultimate goal of enhancing, extending and enriching the learning environment.
Danielle is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, a former Surface Expert, and a Microsoft Master Trainer. Danielle earned her Bachelor of Arts in English/ Secondary Education and her Masters of Science in Education/ Reading N-12 from SUNY Geneseo. She also holds a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Scranton. She holds an Online and Blended Teacher Certification from Leading Edge and is professionally trained in Cognitive Coaching, Project Based Learning and Making Thinking Visible among others.
Danielle and her husband Ryan have been married for 17 years and have two sons.
