Brittany Thoma

Brittany is a tech integration and professional development coordinator in the Western New York region for Erie 1 BOCES. In this role, she supports multiple school districts with EdTech integration, training, curriculum, and professional development. She enjoys helping educators and administrators find new, engaging, and purposeful ways to bring technology into their classrooms and districts in order to extend and enhance learning. She previously taught 7th grade ELA for 5 years and helped her district pilot and implement 1:1 devices and an Office 365 rollout.

Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY Stony Brook, a Master’s degree in Secondary English Education from the University at Buffalo and is currently working on completing her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at SUNY Stony Brook. Brittany is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Certified Microsoft Educator, Google Level 2 Certified Educator, and Flipgrid Ambassador. She has also presented at numerous local and national conferences including ISTE, InnEdCo, and NYSCATE.

Brittany enjoys traveling and spending time with her 95-lb Goldendoodle, Melo.
